DC Fashion Photographer, Kim Ly, empowers others through a sensual vision. Specializing in couture commercial photography.

“Always be you… no matter what one may think of you” Kim went into The Art Institute of Dulles with initially studying to be a Graphic Designer; she then quickly developed a love for photography, then made a decision to pursue her passion.

Being the oldest of four children molded Kim into being a leader. She is someone that takes charge of any situation placed into, and aims to make the best decisions for the right outcome.

Kim Ly was born July 14th 1989 in Morong, Philippines and came to America after three short months. Coming to America was an eye opener, even for a three-month-old baby; given this opportunity was a chance with endless possibilities. Kim was raised by her mother and grandmother; presently residing in Arlington, VA. Graduated with the class of 2007, from Yorktown High School in Arlington, VA.

Kim is currently attending The Art Institute of Dulles in Sterling, VA for a BFA of Photography. Kim’s definition of Art; empowering others through a vision only she can see, motivating them to have a sensual attraction to what is produced. Kim loves shooting headshots, fashion, editorials, and landscapes.
