Right after I graduated high school in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 18, I moved to Los Angeles California to work on MySocialCloud.com, that I co-founded with my brother, Scott. He had been a student at the University of Southern California (and we thought I would attend that school as well), so we decided to start the business in California. That summer my brother and I had rented out a small two bedroom apartment in Los Angeles. But because we couldn’t afford to pay rent for the whole place, we had to rent out one of the rooms to another fellow and sleep on air mattresses because the room we had wasn’t big enough for a bed.
